The Criminalization of US Foreign Policy - - - The World is at the crossroads of the most serious crisis in modern history. The US has embarked on a military adventure, "a long war", which threatens the future of humanity. At no point since the first atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima on August 6th, 1945, has humanity been closer to the unthinkable, a nuclear holocaust which could potentially spread, in terms of radioactive fallout, over a large part of the Middle East.

By the way this $8.8 is enough to feed all the 26 million Iraqis for more than 60 months of the current food ration!!! . . . . . . . I gave her my wife's number (cheep local call!!) she called and we talked about the situation in Iraq. Two days later the phone went dead and was never reactivated again. I think BIG BROTHER did not like what I said. Democracy? . . . . . . . . . During the Gulf War the allies deliberately bombed vital civilian targets like water purification plants, sewage systems, electricity, irrigation, hospitals, roads... in violation of UN conventions. Such facilities are essential for the civilian population. I am not going to tell you about the unjustified killing on the highway of death nor talk about the use of depleted uranium and its disastrous long-term effects. . . . . 300,000 children under five they are too young to know the responsibility - killed by economic sanctions.  
   
 
 
 

The death toll for the wars of the Bush Era is a secret number. Highly qualified scientists at Johns Hopkins University calculated that 655,000 Iraqis had died in the first three years of the war. It is now one year later. We do not know the number of the deaths, dismemberments, disabilities, disfugurations, ravages, rapine and capricious slashings, shootings, woundings, burnings, explosions and anarchic homicides of the Bush Era, but we do know that secret number is still ascending. . . . . . . . . In other words, the law facilitates the "transfer" of the newest in so-called "crowd control" technology and other weaponry designed to suppress dissent from the Pentagon to local militarized police units. The new law builds on and further codifies earlier "technology transfer" agreements, specifically the 1995 DOD-Justice Department memorandum of agreement achieved back during the Clinton-Reno regime. . . . . . . . . . . . . On Friday, February 23, U.S. war resister Kyle Snyder was arrested in British Columbia for unspecified immigration violations.  Police in Nelson, BC barged into Snyder’s home, handcuffed him, and hauled him off to jail.  The police had no warrant.  Snyder, who was wearing only a robe and boxer shorts at the time, was not allowed to put on clothes or shoes.  He was not read his rights or allowed to call his lawyer.  Nelson police told him he would be deported to the U.S. , where he is wanted for unauthorized absence from the U.S. Army. . . . . . . . . . . Snyder’s housemates, Ryan and Jenna Johnson, frantically called Members of Parliament who, in turn, called Citizenship and Immigration Canada.  Immigration officials then informed Nelson police they had no legal basis for arresting Snyder.  Nelson Police released Snyder after holding him incommunicado for six hours.  Joci Peri, an Immigration official in Vancouver , later told Snyder he had been arrested at the request of the U.S. Army.

He refers often to "the hidden agenda" of the big banking and financial organizations. They orchestrate collapses, he says, by demanding payment of debt service charges and then lending money to cover the charges but only on condition the recipient country impose such measures as austerity, privatization and currency devaluation. The impact is usually destructive: mass shutdowns, huge unemployment, a wipeout of savings and pensions and purchasing power, a loss of social services.  Such economic shock therapy, he says, has pushed Russia, for one, "back to the medieval era," impoverishing millions of people, deepening the country's foreign debt, driving more than half the country's industrial plants into bankruptcy and allowing organized crime to flourish in the banking, real estate and other sectors of the economy.

The success of the central banking scheme developed into a far-reaching  plan described by President Clinton's mentor, Georgetown Professor Carroll Quigley,  "to create a world system of financial control in private hands able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world as a whole. This system was to be controlled in a feudalist fashion by the central banks of the world acting in  concert, by secret agreements arrived at in frequent meetings and conferences. The apex of  the system was to be the Bank for International Settlements in Basel, Switzerland, a private bank owned and controlled by the world's central banks which were themselves  private corporations. Each central bank....sought to dominate its government by its  ability to control Treasury loans, to manipulate foreign exchanges, to influence the  levels of economic activity in the country, and to influence cooperative politicians by subsequent economic rewards in the business world." Several  short-lived attempts to impose the central banking scheme on the United States were defeated by the patriotic efforts of Presidents Madison, Jefferson, Jackson, Van Buren and Lincoln. But with the passage of the Federal Reserve Act of 1913, America was firmly lashed to the same yoke, so that a small number of very rich men have been able to lay  upon the masses a yoke little better than slavery itself. That yoke inevitably grows  heavier with ever-compounding interest, and totals over $20 trillion of debt owed by the  American people today ($80,000 per American) ultimately to these bankers.    No social system or political regime which denies the reality of God can contribute in any constructive and lasting manner to the advancement of human civilization. The measure of the advance of society is directly determined by the degree to which public opinion can control personal behavior and state regulation through nonviolent expression. Justice makes a nation great, and the greater a nation the more solicitous will it be to see that injustice shall not befall even its most humble citizen. Woe upon any nation when only those who possess money and influence can secure ready justice before its courts! It is the sacred duty of a magistrate to acquit the innocent as well as to punish the guilty. Upon the impartiality, fairness, and integrity of its courts the endurance of a nation depends. Civil government is founded on justice, even as true religion is founded on mercy. The guilty must be punished while the innocent must be set free. If the people of United States allow the highest office in the nation to commit crimes against all of humanity without bringing all those responsible to justice, and a fair judgment and punishment, then will liars and thieves even murdering tyrants continue to occupy and rule over the nation as dictators. It is not enough to impeach and remove from power such tyrants; they must be punished according to the fundamentals of established law regardless of the position held when the crime was committed. As for Iraq Bush lied and over 650,000 citizens of Iraq died, many of whom were innocent little children.
 

 
After the Second World War, the Nuremberg Tribunal set out important principles of international law. Those principles established that soldiers have a moral duty, not a choice, to refuse to carry out illegal orders. It is the opinion of noted International law expert Francis Boyle that George W. Bush's War against Iraq is a war of aggression and constitutes a Crime against Peace as defined by the Nuremberg Charter (1945), the Nuremberg Judgment (1946), and the Nuremberg Principles (1950) as well as by paragraph 498 of U.S. Army Field Manual 27-10 (1956). After the massive human rights abuses in the Second World War and the Nazi persecution of the Jews, the International Military Tribunal at Nuremberg described the waging of aggressive war as "essentially an evil thing ... to initiate a war of aggression ... is not only an international crime; it is the supreme international crime differing only from other war crimes in that it contains within itself the accumulated evil of the whole." The chief prosecutor at the Nuremberg Tribunal and Associate United States Supreme Court Justice Robert Jackson wrote: "No political or economic situation can justify" the crime of aggression. Justice Jackson also said: "If certain acts in violation of treaties are crimes they are crimes whether the United States does them or whether Germany does them, and we are not prepared to lay down a rule of criminal conduct against others which we would not be willing to have invoked against us." A war of aggression has been termed a Crime against Peace and is considered a War Crime. Wars are only deemed legal under International law if they are genuine acts of self defense or if they are expressly approved by the United Nations Security Council. Arthur Schlesinger, Jr., the distinguished American historian, and an advisor to President John F. Kennedy made the following comment on the Bush doctrine of unilateral pre-emptive war: "Unilateral preventive war is neither legitimate nor moral. It is illegitimate and immoral." Schlesinger drew an analogy to the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbour: “One of the astonishing events of recent months is the presentation of preventive war as a legitimate and moral instrument of U.S. foreign policy This has not always been the case. Dec. 7, 1941, on which day the Japanese launched a preventive strike against the U.S. Navy, has gone down in history as a date that will live in infamy. During the Cold War, advocates of preventive war were dismissed as a crowd of loonies.”
