Moulden Leader of the Canadian Action Party |
The Canadian Action Party strongly condemns Israeli's
aggression against the Palestinians and urges Israel to
restrain their forces from a ground invasion of
Palestinian territories which threatens the lives of
many defenseless and helpless citizens.
Although we also condemn the launching of rockets by
Hamas against the citizens of Israel, we understand that
the Palestinian are essentially powerless against the
war machine of the Israelis and are a people on the
verge of starvation and extermination.
We do not consider that the actions of the Israeli
government serve the citizens of Israel, nor do they
represent the viewpoint of Jewish communities around the
world.
These assaults are out of all proportion to the threats
posed to Israel by Hamas, a legally elected government
of a sovereign yet imprisoned peoples. A ground
military operation into Gaza will neither deny nor deter
the ability of Hamas to fire rockets.
We condemn also the Canadian and American political
parties and leaders who express their undying loyalty to
Israel, no matter what atrocities they commit while
masquerading these aggressions as necessary for the
security of Israel.
The air was tense as pro-Palestinian protestors of all
ages gathered at Younge and Dundas square in Toronto
yesterday. Across the street stood about 200 pro-Israel
demonstrators. Demonstrators brought Younge street
traffic to a standstill. Similar protests are happening
across the globe.
The Canadian Action Party condemns the Israeli attacks
on Gaza and Hamas as disproportionate, incendiary, and
requiring a strong message from our government to take a
firm stand against aggressor nations that continue this
global siege of inciting terrorism in the name of
fighting terrorism.
Terrorism, or the threat thereof, will never be defeated
by the machinations of war, security and prosperity
partnerships, or exorbitant military budgets.
It is time that Canada, and our leadership, takes a
stand on world affairs, that expresses the peaceful
nature the Canadian people have towards each other, and
humanity. Condemnation of Israeli invasion of Gaza is
warranted. Extrication of our own military forces from
Afghanistan is overdue. Refusal of our nation to partake
in, support, and/or condone militarized actions against
sovereign states is overdue.
Canada is a peacekeeping nation not a war mongering
nation. We seem to have lost our courage, voice, stance,
and independence to speak up and out as a Nation and
peoples, separate form the global community which now
dictates our international voice, or lack thereof.
"War, the most malignant scourge, mans greatest sin, can
no longer be tolerated and only abolished. We have
reached a new era. if we cannot find some new more
equitable means of settling disputes amongst nations,
Armageddon will be at our doorsteps...we have had our
last chance."

Palestine is in need of all those world citizens of
high moral and ethical fiber to liberate herself from the
political tyranny invoked by Israel - United States and
England. The days of their iniquity will be know to the
students of history throughout all future generations of
mankind. The truth never suffers from honest examination and
when it is revealed will liberate all mankind from political
tyranny. War is strong Medicine, very costly. It kills the
patient and destroys both societies. War is murder on a mass scale. It must be outlawed
and its advocates imprisoned! Modern day war kills the patient
and destroys both societies, the one it kills outright in the
other it destroys the moral and ethical fiber of civilized
life.
Thou shalt not kill is the law of God for
both Jew and Christian - Men who murder children are in league
with the devil! |

The Time of The
Righteous
This war, perhaps more than its predecessors, is exposing the true deep
veins of Israeli society. Racism and hatred are
rearing their heads, as is the impulse for revenge
and the thirst for blood. The "inclination of the
commander" in the Israel Defense Forces is now "to
kill as many as possible," as the military
correspondents on television describe it. And even
if the reference is to Hamas fighters, this
inclination is still chilling...........

Gazans Warned of
Escalation While Israel Faces War Crime Accusations
The

war crimes in
Gaza. The warning came as Israeli troops pressed

Israel rains fire on
Gaza with phosphorus shells
Israel is believed to be using controversial white
phosphorus shells to screen its assault on the heavily
populated Gaza Strip yesterday. The weapon, used by British
and US forces in Iraq, can cause horrific burns but is not
illegal if used as a smokescreen.
As the Israeli army stormed to the edges of Gaza City and
the Palestinian death toll topped 500, the tell-tale shells
could be seen spreading tentacles of thick white smoke to
cover the troops’ advance. “These explosions are fantastic
looking, and produce a great deal of smoke that blinds the
enemy so that our forces can move in,” said one Israeli
security expert. Burning blobs of phosphorus would cause
severe injuries to anyone caught beneath them and force
would-be snipers or operators of remote-controlled booby traps
to take cover. Israel admitted using white phosphorus during
its 2006 war with Lebanon.
The use of the weapon in the Gaza Strip, one of the world’s
mostly densely population areas, is likely to ignite yet more
controversy over Israel’s offensive, in which more than 2,300
Palestinians have been wounded..............more

Top 5 Lies About Israel’s
Assault on Gaza
January 3, 2009
by Jeremy R. Hammond
Lie #1) Israel is only targeting
legitimate military sites and is seeking to protect innocent
lives. Israel never targets civilians.
The Gaza Strip is one of the most
densely populated pieces of property in the world. The
presence of militants within a civilian population does not,
under international law, deprive that population of their
protected status, and hence any assault upon that population
under the guise of targeting militants is, in fact, a war
crime........

'We
Are Very Violent': Israeli War Crimes Mount
By
Jonathan Cook, AlterNet.
Posted
January 10, 2009.
And so does
international criticism of Israel's utter disregard for
civilian lives.
Criticism by international watchdog groups over the
increasing death toll in Gaza mounted this week as the first
legal actions inside Israel were launched accusing the army of
intentionally harming the enclave's civilian population.
The petitions -- over attacks on medical personnel and the
shelling of United Nations schools in Gaza -- follow
statements by senior Israeli commanders that they have been
using heavy firepower to protect soldiers during their advance
on built-up areas. "We are very violent," one told Israeli
media............more

Canada
Complicit with Israeli War Crimes

By Jim Miles – Canada
Canada lives in the unfortunate position of being under the
thrall of U.S. media for most its information and cultural
relevance. At the same time, its own media, apart from the
national broadcast company CBC, is highly centralized under
the influence of two media empires (Canwest Global and CTV
GlobeMedia) who support the same kind of biased coverage that
is provided by the U.S. In sum, Canadians who wish to receive
a balanced view of events in the Middle East, Gaza in
particular, have to rely on alternate or external media.
Canwest Global (Israel Aspers’ media empire) provides nightly
updates with little context and “balanced” reporting of
showing deaths in Israel from the Qassam rockets as being
equally as devastating as the IDF attacks in Gaza.........more

Freedom
of the Person
Slavery, serfdom, and all forms of human bondage must disappear.
Freedom
of the Mind
Unless a free people are educated -- taught to think intelligently
and plan wisely -- freedom usually does more harm than good.
The
reign of law.
Liberty can be enjoyed only when the will and whims of human
rulers are replaced by legislative enactments in accordance with
accepted fundamental law.
Freedom
of speech.
Representative government is unthinkable without freedom of all
forms of expression for human aspirations and opinions.
Security
of property.
No government can long endure if it fails to provide for the right
to enjoy personal property in some form. Man craves the right to
use, control, bestow, sell, lease, and bequeath his personal
property.
The
right of petition.
Representative government assumes the right of citizens to be
heard. The privilege of petition is inherent in free citizenship.
The
right to rule.
It is not enough to be heard; the power of petition must progress
to the actual management of the government.
Universal
suffrage.
Representative government presupposes an intelligent, efficient,
and universal electorate. The character of such a government will
ever be determined by the character and caliber of those who
compose it. As civilization progresses, suffrage, while remaining
universal for both sexes, will be effectively modified, regrouped,
and otherwise differentiated.
Control
of public servants.
No civil government will be serviceable and effective unless the
citizenry possess and use wise techniques of guiding and
controlling officeholders and public servants.
Intelligent
and trained representation.
The survival of democracy is dependent on successful
representative government; and that is conditioned upon the
practice of electing to public offices only those individuals who
are technically trained, intellectually competent, socially loyal,
and morally fit.
Only by such provisions can government of the people, by the
people, and for the people be preserved. |
