It has
rightly been said that "RAIN IS A BLESSING IN DISGUISE" the
monsoon rains of this year in Pakistan bring with them a bad
omen for millions of Pakistanis. The Northern Areas of
Pakistan are seriously affected due to heavy and stormy
rains. The Province of Khaibar Pakhtun Khuwa, Punjab & Sindh
are declared as disastrous areas. The whole of city of
Nowshera, District Mianwali, Dera Ismail Khan, Muzaffar Garh,
Kabirwala, Multan, Dera Allah Yar Districts, Gilgit
Baltistan areas and many others villages/towns have been
destroyed. All this is mind-blowing. Millions of people are
living in conditions of misery. They are homeless. They have
nothing to eat and nothing to wear. Food stuffs, pure water,
clothes, blankets and tents are their dire needs. They are
in need of shelter. Many diseases have broken out due to the
dirty water. Medicines are required to save and protect
these precious lives. I, therefore, request to all of you
please make your contribution sure to help these calamities
stricken people. It will give you peace of mind. They are
looking forward for your help.
Life has
become a hell for the people of these areas. There
conditions are very pitiable. There children are dying with
hunger. There is not having sufficient facilities for
living. The whole cities are destroyed. Huge buildings are
reduced to heaps of death. Big bazaars are turned in to
heaps of mud.
All the
effected areas are deserted. Life has disappeared from
there. The crops are also destroyed by the rains, especially
the crops of cotton, vegetable & rice which is a great
source of national income. This is affecting a great loss
for the whole nation, but the need of these moments is the
rehabilitation of the people of these affected areas. They
have lost their houses, many people are deprived of their
real relatives. This flood has taken away many human lives
with it and those who remain alive are still in danger of
death due to unavailability basic necessities of life. There
is a near possibility of losing more lives if conscious
efforts have not been made to re-establish them. They want,
and are, in need of some help from the people of the world.
We request you to make your contribution to bring these
people back to life. Your little contribution can do a
miracle in their life. You can save many lives through a
little effort, their basic necessity are commodities of life
such as food, water, cloth, tents, medicines etc.
Please
make your contribution to console your brothers in this
moment of the grips of sorrow. No doubt a long term process
is required to bring it back to normal but our present aim
is just to provide some relief to the victims of this heavy
flood. We just desire to save the human life, and we require
your help in this matter. I hope you will help them as much
as possible; the whole nation would be thankful to you for
this good deed.

that you all will try and help the flood victims because
they are in real need of support.
I am sending you a summary of my UB activities in Pakistan.
I am keeping alive the light of revelation in my arena of
influence. Pakistan's UB study Group (Treasure
of Life) is still very active and working hard to
spread this Fifth Epochal Revelation of Truth in every
corner of Pakistan. Many difficulties surround me.
As you know that Pakistan is a Muslim country and lots of
fundamentalists tried to trouble me many times, but my
Heavenly Father is always protecting me. I am grateful
that I have teachings of
The Urantia Book as a sort of lifeline--and I am
grateful that I am able to share it with others.
I am having a weekly a UB study group at my place or
sometimes at any of the UB reader's place. We are like
17-18 serious readers of the UB study group and have regular
and productive meetings. I have two more UB study groups
containing 7-8 members of each study group and these groups
are out stationed, they are based in the villages and they
are like 600 Kilo meters far from our town. Every 2-3
months, I am visiting them. Friends from
villages are not good in English - means they can't speak
and read English but we are taking some translated material
to help them. I wish that if I can visit them once in
a month because they need UB studies a lot but it's quite
expensive to go there and I can't afford that.
My Urantia Book studies are fantastic. We four UB
readers go to the different places to visit people and to
give them studies as they are thirsty and desire us to visit
them once a week at their places. Very excited because
day by day UB readers are growing and now people are
inviting us to come and visit them and there they have
friends and fellows who are requesting me to join my UB
study group at my home but because of the bad circumstances
in Pakistan, I am avoiding this and instead of their coming,
I am visiting them weekly.
