"…historically, men have always gone fight'n to protect
the women-folk. But, if women are in combat, then who
are we out fighting to protect? The children? But no one
will be there to watch the children, so it will have to
be children in combat, too. See, I know how this stuff
works; politicians start with changing one little thing
and then building on it. After we have children in
combat, people will be saying we should have dogs in
combat. Next will be goats and orangutans, and it will
be a mess.
Now, I
likes kill'n for'ners, 'specially them ter'rists types,
but fight'n them is scary work. They yell and they shoot
at ya which doesn't phase a big guy like me. Women,
though, are smaller and prettier and could get all
scared and everything. Also, when on the battlefield,
one has to be ready to fight at a moment's notice, but,
from what I know about women, if they are woken up by
gunfire, they'll first want to put on their "faces" so
as not to be embarrassed when the enemy sees them."....

"...only about 3% of women score as well
as the average man on the physical fitness test, and
most women can't throw a hand grenade far enough to keep
from killing themselves (191)."

Women not rushing
to enroll
"Those with common
sense and experience with life can understand why
women were not rushing to enroll in VMI. Most women
don't like to be forced to keep their hair only one
fourth inch long, to be called 'Brother Rat', to be
insulted and ordered around as VMI freshman are, or to
share common washrooms with a bunch of men. Most women
don't like the lack of privacy involved in being
forbidden to have a lock on your door or a curtain on
your window, or having strangers enter your bedroom at
any hour, day or night, or body contact sports (181)."
For a century and a
half, Virginia Military Institute (VMI) conducted a
unique style of undergraduate education which
graduates disciplined, honorable young men who are
exemplary citizens and are ready to serve their
country in times of war. It is a tough regimen that
few men can endure and no women have ever tried
(180)."
"You would think the
Department of Justice would have enough to do, dealing
with our nations many legal and criminal problems, but
on a slow day in 1990 Justice filed suit against
Virginia Military Institute, charging 'sex
discrimination' because VMI does not admit women
(181)."
"The feminists just
can't stand it that any institution in America would
be permitted to train real men to manifest uniquely
masculine attributes (181)."
"When VMI tried to
comply and treat female cadets just like male cadets
(which is what the feminists said they wanted before
the Supreme Court decision) it turned out that
equality wasn't what they wanted after all. Janet
Reno's feminist Justice Department went to court to
argue that failing to make ADJUSTMENTS for female
recruits would amount to 'discrimination' because it
would discourage women from applying or lead them to
drop out (182)."
