Our World Community Collective
Our World Community Collective is a network of concerned citizens, in the Federal Riding of Okanagan/Shuswap, who are willing to put varied amounts of energy into a system to improve the state of the world.
Our World Community Collective uses a simple voting system, where the
public provides input and that input is used in the government decision making
process.
The key to the success of this direct democracy system is
the number of registered members and the participation of those members in
votes and surveys. Membership is absolutely free.
It is our vision that once this system affects change in this riding that
other voting districts in Canada and the world will follow our lead.

Thank you for participating in the Our World Community Collective awareness campaign and protest for the Security and Prosperity Partnership (SPP). We have chosen the PDF file below (SPP PDF from Canadian Labour Congress) for the awareness campaign. We feel this PDF best describes the SPP and why we must stop it.
We are asking you to email this PDF to people who live in North America who are on your email list. We are also asking people to print out copies of the PDF (black and white) to distribute to friends, family and coworkers.

Awareness Campaigns
From our past surveys and votes, our member base identified their major concerns and the underlying root causes of those concerns (see past newsletters for previous votes and polls). A major concern was "Polluting of the Earth." One of the underlying root causes of “Polluting of the Earth” was "Lack of Awareness." The Our World steering committee believes the best way to address this "Lack of Awareness" is to launch Awareness Campaigns.
The Our World Steering Committee has chosen vital topics for the current Awareness Campaign and Vote. We have selected documentaries that we believe best explain each topic.
Copies of the documentaries are available on DVDs for distribution to our members. We have 20 nine-set packages of DVDs that include the following:

We believe that:

One of the most destructive pollutants in the world today is depleted uranium.

The U.S. is taking its radioactive waste from nuclear energy production and is waging a low-level nuclear war against Iraq and Afghanistan by using so called Depleted Uranium munitions.

This will eventually kill the majority of the people in these countries and make many parts of these countries incapable of life.

The majority of our Canadian soldiers have been contaminated with Depleted Uranium in Afghanistan and in coming home will either die prematurely, suffer major health conditions, contaminate their wives or drastically increase the chance of birthing children with serious illnesses or abnormalities.

We believe that:

The evidence related to the 9/11 event points to it being carried out by elements inside the United States of America.

The official government theory of the event (9/11 Commission, N.I.S.T. and F.E.M.A Reports) is full of omissions, half truths and lies meant to deceive the World.

Because of 9/11 the world, including Canada, is undergoing a major transformation in the name of security and the war on terror. Our personal liberties and freedoms are being stripped.

Because of 9/11 the U.S and its allies, including Canada, have started war against two nations and is responsible for nearly 700,000 deaths.

We believe that:

The executive levels of government of the three nations of North America (Canada, United States, and Mexico) and the biggest Corporations of North America are forming a North American Union like the European Union.

This Union and the changes they are implementing to North America are being dictated by the Corporations for their benefit, with no benefit to the majority of the citizens of these nations.
-
This Union is being carried out secretly through working groups and meetings under the Security and Prosperity Partnership agreement signed in Waco Texas in 2005. It is also being carried out through North American Free Trade Agreements, with no input from the citizens of the three nations nor their elected government officials (through parliament).

TRUE Government
The ten steps or stages to the evolution of a true democracy.
Slavery, serfdom, and all forms of human bondage must disappear.
Unless a free people are educated -- taught to think intelligently and plan wisely -- freedom usually does more harm than good.
Liberty can be enjoyed only when the will and whims of human rulers are replaced by legislative enactments in accordance with accepted fundamental law.
Representative government is unthinkable without freedom of all forms of expression for human aspirations and opinions.
No government can long endure if it fails to provide for the right to enjoy personal property in some form. Man craves the right to use, control, bestow, sell, lease, and bequeath his personal property.
Representative government assumes the right of citizens to be heard. The privilege of petition is inherent in free citizenship.
It is not enough to be heard; the power of petition must progress to the
actual management of the government.
Representative government presupposes an intelligent, efficient, and universal electorate. The character of such a government will ever be determined by the character and caliber of those who compose it. As civilization progresses, suffrage, while remaining universal for both sexes, will be effectively modified, regrouped, and otherwise differentiated.
9. Control of public servants.
No civil government will be serviceable and effective unless the citizenry possess and use wise techniques of guiding and controlling officeholders and public servants.
10. Intelligent and trained representation.
The survival of democracy is dependent on successful representative government; and that is conditioned upon the practice of electing to public offices only those individuals who are technically trained, intellectually competent, socially loyal, and morally fit. Only by such provisions can government of the people, by the people, and for the people be preserved.
