From the Teachings of the Urantia Revelation  115:1.1 Partial, incomplete, and evolving intellects would be helpless in the master universe, would be unable to form the first rational thought pattern, were it not for the innate ability of all mind, high or low, to form a universe frame in which to think. If mind cannot fathom conclusions, if it cannot penetrate to true origins, then will such mind unfailingly postulate conclusions and invent origins that it may have a means of logical thought within the frame of these mind-created postulates. There was little or no effort to verify the truth of the government’s claim. Was there any concrete, practical meaning to the government’s PR? The notion that Canada had stopped BMD dead in its tracks, instantly become the official line and was widely accepted as the gospel truth. It remains the doctrine that we are expected to accept on faith. A day has probably not gone by when the media did not repeat the myth that Martin put the nail in the coffin of “missile defense.” It’s as if they bought obituary notices for all the Canadian media. Here’s what the obituary should have looked like.

Horrifying and brutal truth of Afganistqan by: Malalai Joya, "The war lords should be removed from power and put on trial," said Joya.  "They are equally as responsible as the Taleban" for crimes against the Afghan people.  Many in the government "wear suits during the day" and have learned how they should speak about women, but the government is controlled by misogynists, propped up for its own purposes by the United States.  Where once there was either the war lords or the Taleban, now there are the war lords and the Taleban to oppress the people, and the drug lords and oil cartels to profit from their plight. "No nation can deliver liberation to another country," Joya continued.  Afghanistan must be freed of occupiers in order to help itself. The role that Canada ought to play is to support that effort by not encouraging and providing security for the current government, and by acting independently to provide moral and material help in rebuilding schools, hospitals, water and electricity supply.  Otherwise, said Joya, "Canada is only helping to implement US policies".
